    ASHEVAK, Kenojuak
    Date: Inuit; b. Ikirasaq, Northwest Territories, 1927 - d. Cape Dorset, 2013
    Kenojuak is the first Inuit artist to receive Order of Canada in 1967. She was married to Johniebo Ashevak.
